Can you tell what we're having by this picture?

Welllllll, what do you think?

Check out Makenna's ears. The color of her brand new earrings on her brand new pierced ears will tell you if it is a boy or a girl!

Are they blue or pink?

A Bit of Praisin'!

I went to the doctor today to find out the results of my quad-screen blood test. I have to admit, I was nervous! So much happened with Tracen, I am older, and my sister had Downs...a lot that I had been thinking about over the past few days. So I was doing a little bit (or a whole lotta) praisin' about the results. She said everything looked great with every test. I know this does not mean things are perfect, but it was a relief to hear that. I also have an appointment with a new doctor who does VBACs in February. I am so sad to leave my doctor, but also so excited to meet the new guy and discuss options for this birth. My current doctor said that I could come back if I want to after, so that is wonderful! Thanks to all of you who have prayed for these things with me...love you!

I added a poll to see what you (all 2 of you) think this kiddo is! Baby M is a girl, Baby T is a boy. I have my sonogram this Friday on my B-day, and I think we are going to find out what it is this time. I have been going back and forth, but I really want to know this little person and bond that way. So weird because we are not fans of finding out, but I really think we are supposed to. SO VOTE! We will see who is right on Friday! (watch us not even be able to tell after all this! :)

Bumpity-Bump...bump

Many of you have been asking to see my bump...baby bump, that is. So after numerous times of failing to get a picture with Tracen behind the lens, here is what we decided to do. Yes, he helped me with the idea. Also, for the record, Friday was my first day to NOT fit into my jeans. I had been doing great in them with just a rubber band around the button, but not anymore. That was exactly 18 weeks along, and yes I usually am not busting out of much until like 24ish. Sad (and exciting) day. Also, I kept looking at this baby ticker thing on the side which was saying I only had like 100 days to go. I kept thinking that there was no way we just had a little over 3 months left so I redid it. Whew! 150 sounds a little better right now because we are having a bad case of the 'don't haves.' Like we don't have a crib, we don't have a crib mattress, we don't have crib sheets, we don't have crib bedding, we don't have a car seat, we don't have a doctor, we don't have maternity insurance(never own your own business), we don't have bottles(not that I use them much, but darn that BHP or whatever it is called), and we don't have a bedspread. Ok so that last one does not count, but we did have one until a beautiful little girl puked on it and the poor dry cleaners are kind of at a loss as to what to try next. Don't get me wrong about the 'don't haves,' because we are covered in 'do haves,' too that we are soooooooooo blessed with. Just another random update in our world. Yes I am pregnant, and yes I have a bump to prove it! and you just thought i was getting hefty!

"Apple-bottom"...4 Year Old Say What?

These are some of the things that have come out of Tracen's mouth in the past few days:

"Oh no, you dih'ent!"

"You got to move with the attitude, groove with the attitude..."

"Hey kids, rock and roll, shake your body, loose control!"

"Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?"

My favorite, on the way to church, completely dancing in the carseat,

"Apple-bottom jeans with the fur, with the fur...uh uh uh uh uh...it goes lo, lo, lo, lo, lo."

Now that one he learned from Paige, his cousin, (she's 15) completely by accident. The kids were in her room and were listening to her ipod (since Makenna got a little one for Christmas she knew how to use it) while Paige was in the shower. She came out and asked me if they were allowed to hear the "Apple-bottom jeans" song. She was freaking out that they had listened to it no fewer than 10 times already! I told her it was alright, and told them to quit using her ipod. I have no idea if the words are right, and I am not sure I want to know. The rest of the sayings...well "hot like me" is from Alvin and the Chipmunks, and I am not so sure about the others. I have told him not to sing things about hotness and apples in the future, but I still catch him humming it and nodding his head. m m m m m with the mmm with the mmm...

The Amazingly Cool (non)Geek Squad

Tyson knows a college student that does the computer thing so he came over to try and salvage what was left. We had a horrible virus that looks just like Antivirus 2009. He worked his magic and we are now virus free! He had just read about this exact virus in a magazine yesterday. So if things pop up that look like Windows Security Center, do not click them. There are some misspellings and grammar things I noticed right off and thought that was weird, so watch for that in any pop up. Just FYI! Thank you, thank you wonderful technology dude!

Not Again!

My adorable 7 year old was home yesterday because of another stomach ailment and asked to use the computer for Webkinz. We tried but the site was down, so I told her we would try after I took a shower. No computer, do not get on or come in here until then. Clear as day, huh? When I came back into the guest room she was running away from the computer. Everything on the desktop was huge and one of the 4 or so games she had tried to play was frozen. Then I saw McAfee was "unprotected." I reinstalled the protection and spent about 2 hrs unfreezing and reducing the rest of the issues. Today I was online and all of a sdden all these warning screens popped up about trojan viruses and a zillion others. So basically Miss Adorable has allowed some virus(es) of death onto our computer and I cannot get them off. Stress! Once again I cannot post besides on my phone and if some wacko posts happen, please know it is not from me and it is from the devil that's stealing my life away as I type on this tiny keyboard. Help.

Look What Happened Christmas Eve!

Every Christmas Eve we go to the service a FBC Hewitt, the church I grew up in. After it is over, I usually go and try to find Mary Ann. This year I saw her and ran over there, but by the time we got there she was gone. I was so sad! Her mom said that she left, but that she was coming back. What? She then informed me that Kevin was going to ask her to marry him that night, at the church! I just immediately started crying and said, "I am not leaving! We have waited our whole lives for this moment and I am going to stay!" They told me Kevin wanted me to stay, so we tried to get EVERYONE out of the sanctuary and turn the lights down as soon as possible. Mary Ann's mom called Kevin, told him she had left without picking up her poinsetta from the front of the church, and asked them to please come back and get it before they went to her house for dinner. We knew Mary Ann would not be happy about coming all the way back for that! We hid in the little sound room until we heard them walk in the doors. He walked her down to the front where only one light was on, grabbed her hand, and proposed! She was totally shocked and freaking out! As soon as he got up off one knee, we all ran down the aisle to see them. It was so great, and I am so thankful God orchestrated all that so I could be there. Isn't He amazing?! Here are some pictures. I only had my phone at the church, so that one is not good, but my mom took more when we got to my house. Now I just have to fit into my bridesmaid dress 6 weeks after giving birth! Help! Woohoo for August 8, 2009! I can't wait!

Crying hugs!

Christmas Fun

We had such a great trip around Texas for Christmas! I love just relaxing and playing games and eating...well, maybe too much eating...but it was so much fun! Here are some more pics of our chronological Christmas!

WOMEN'S CHRISTMAS DINNER
I love being with the ladies at my church for some fancy tables full of friends!

Ashley and Connie...note the blue and white china that I try and make Christmasish!

Stephanie and Erica

This picture has a special place in my heart because these are my two BLOGLESS friends that I often refer to in posts about cleanliness. Beth and Leslie are the last two holding out on the blog thing...maybe you can all comment and harrass them via this blog to start one! heehee

MAKENNA'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
This was my first "in the classroom" event to help with this year. The party was directed by a mom who used to be a teacher on the East Coast. It was craziness! Every kid was covered in marshmallow fluff decorating their gingerbread house, and the mom made it clear that it was alright to taste the candy as you go and to LICK YOUR FINGERS. If you know me at all, you know that I was completely freaking out! Makenna and Tracen both wanted to eat theirs when they got home, and who knows how much they ate while making it. For the record, Makenna did acquire a horrible virus 2 nights later and had it again on Christmas Eve. See? It is important to be a germ freak! Then she would not have been puking from slimy, slobbery germs!! Enough about that. It was a fun party and great to be with all her class.

Getting messy!

Tracen and his struggles with perfection.

CHRISTMAS AT OUR HOUSE...OR SANTA COMES EARLY

Tracen playing with his new Leapster

Makenna and her new ipod shuffle

Playing away
I was not in charge of the pics because of the virus thing and up all night. So this is all we have. We do not go crazy with the Santa thing. The kids know that Santa brings them 3 presents each because the wise men brought Jesus 3 gifts. It is such a great way for them to see why we celebrate and give gifts at all. Mucho thanks to Bubba and Daddy for taking care of Santa for me this year!

This is enough for one post. I know all of you...well the 2 who are left reading after all our internet problems...are bored to tears with these posts. I know I need to post more often, and hopefully being home with a working computer will help. So sorry for the monologue and chronological timeline of events in our life!
