Skeet's Rehearsal Dinner and Shower

Erica Kacey got MARRIED on May 12!!  Mailey was the flower girl, Tracen was the ring bearer, and Makenna was the Jr. Bridesmaid.  It was so exhausting and so fun.  It is stressful to get 3 kids ready and behaving at certain times!  Taking pictures with Mailey was not very successful either.  :)  What can i say?  She is 2...and a very independent 2 at that.  We were so so blessed by Skeet asking my kids to participate in her day.  What a beautiful weekend.  Here are some pics from Friday night:
Some of her super wedding party
They might be the cutest couple ever...
A ring bearer and flower girl, without the junior bridesmaid who wouldn't get in the picture

Mailey's PDO Finale

My little miss who lives in a Disney movie every day decided to be the only kiddo not singing, lifting up her dress, and hiding her face during her PDO program.  She was soooo funny!  In the video that refuses to upload, ugh, you can hear Beth and I telling her to stand up or sing or put down her dress...and us laughing!!  She has loved going to "school" in her little class this year, but tells me daily that she is staying home with me and not going back.  Little does she know that next year she will be in the 3s.  I never imagined my girl who wakes up asking me to sing so she can dance and spends her days twirling and declaring her love for me and her toys and her life all. day. long. would have a moment like this in front of a crowd.  These kiddos can always surprise us, huh?

Spend Awhile on the Nile

I am soooo proud of these kids, along with all the K-5th graders who worked for months on the musical at our church.  This musical was super hard, with a million words per song, and they worked their tails off.  It is crazy teaching K-2nd graders the words to all the songs when most of them can't read, especially not that fast.  I loved being with these children each Sunday night.  Makenna had one of the main speaking parts in the musical.  She did so amazingly well.  I am proud that she learned her lines and would even get on stage at all.  They sang, danced, and shared their little hearts out.  Glad it is over, and I am sure that parents are glad that the musical cd is OUT of their car cd players after 5 months!

Party in the Park

Archer's birthday party was sooo fun!  We made a 24 hour trip to Corinth for the party in the park.  Lots of family and Marc and Sarah's home group came.  The kids played on the playground, we ate hamburgers, and had Archer's favorite banana muffins...and chocolate for Marc.  We are so grateful we were able to make the crazy trip from the flatlands for a super celebration!! We loooove this sweet boy.

This is how Archer started out the party

Cute family picture

My Cello Girl

Makenna did such a super job at her cello Informance for the Spring semester. She has learned so much this year. Though she sometimes complains...she really has loved playing and learning an instrument. The Texas Tech String Project is for 4th and 5th graders, so next year she will be able to continue on. Yay!  I am sooo proud of her!
