The fruits of my week of labor:
Mailey's room for now. Yes, if you all recall the
former post on reusing/being cheap, I have done it again. After looking FOREVER for just the right fabric for baby bedding, I decided to use what I had.
Stacie will just die that we still have these, but when Makenna was 2 she gave us Peyton's old twin bedspreads that matched. Makenna has pretty much used one off and on since then. I have 2 bedskirts and 2 bedspreads, so I decided to use one skirt on the twin bed I repainted (Stacie gave us that, too), and one on the crib. Marc and I pinned it and then I whip-stitched it into a crib sized dust ruffle. With a plain cream bumper, and hopefully a crib matress to go in there sometime soon, I have rigged it an made it work. I also love the color...not too teal, not too blue, and it has other colors in it so I am not stuck in the two-toned look. Pink and yellow look great, too! So there you have it so far. Just call me cheap, recycle girl, or the ultimate rigger-upper, but it is what it is!

Here is some cutting in...the 2 1/2 day long cutting in, of the living room/dining/hall. Not much of a color difference, but the paint they put in the house was like chalk mixed with water. No joke, if you accidentally hit your hand on it you would bleed. I would never know because I don't ever run into walls...So now it feel so great and will be washable for all the other people in this house who never run into walls with their bodies, toys, crayons, or balls. Such a relief to be done!

Finished living room...who can spot the bag of clothes for
Stephanie and the sleeping boy?

Here is Mailey's sweet face! I kind of freaked out when the sonographer just switched to 3D and showed me her face. I was not too sure I wanted to see what she looked like, but my mom was very quick to tell the lady that, "Yes! We do want to see her. Yes,
you do want to see her face!" Isn't she cute? She looks a lot like Makenna asleep with the wider-set eyes and little mouth. We have no idea what nose she has, though! Also, much to my dismay, in 3D you are able to see the cord, and it is HUGELY LONG again. The lady was following it all over my stomach. One good thing is that it isn't by my cervix or underneath her. Why do I grow such long cords? The doctor says it is because my babies move a lot, and I think we could classify it as constantly!

Finally, I know I am like a week and a half late, but here is the bump at 27ish weeks. The only thing looking bigger to me is the face, hands, and arms! Don't forget the backside. Sigh! Puffiness!
