Christmas Fun

We had such a great trip around Texas for Christmas! I love just relaxing and playing games and eating...well, maybe too much eating...but it was so much fun! Here are some more pics of our chronological Christmas!

WOMEN'S CHRISTMAS DINNER
I love being with the ladies at my church for some fancy tables full of friends!

Ashley and Connie...note the blue and white china that I try and make Christmasish!

Stephanie and Erica

This picture has a special place in my heart because these are my two BLOGLESS friends that I often refer to in posts about cleanliness. Beth and Leslie are the last two holding out on the blog thing...maybe you can all comment and harrass them via this blog to start one! heehee

MAKENNA'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
This was my first "in the classroom" event to help with this year. The party was directed by a mom who used to be a teacher on the East Coast. It was craziness! Every kid was covered in marshmallow fluff decorating their gingerbread house, and the mom made it clear that it was alright to taste the candy as you go and to LICK YOUR FINGERS. If you know me at all, you know that I was completely freaking out! Makenna and Tracen both wanted to eat theirs when they got home, and who knows how much they ate while making it. For the record, Makenna did acquire a horrible virus 2 nights later and had it again on Christmas Eve. See? It is important to be a germ freak! Then she would not have been puking from slimy, slobbery germs!! Enough about that. It was a fun party and great to be with all her class.

CHRISTMAS AT OUR HOUSE...OR SANTA COMES EARLY

Playing away
I was not in charge of the pics because of the virus thing and up all night. So this is all we have. We do not go crazy with the Santa thing. The kids know that Santa brings them 3 presents each because the wise men brought Jesus 3 gifts. It is such a great way for them to see why we celebrate and give gifts at all. Mucho thanks to Bubba and Daddy for taking care of Santa for me this year!

This is enough for one post. I know all of you...well the 2 who are left reading after all our internet problems...are bored to tears with these posts. I know I need to post more often, and hopefully being home with a working computer will help. So sorry for the monologue and chronological timeline of events in our life!

Stop apologizing!!! I love reading about your life:) and for the record there's NO way my kids would have gotten to eat a gingerbread house made with kids licking fingers at school! I cannot believe that you're 16 weeks already...so excited for you. I'm glad you had a great Christmas.
