What Mailey is up to!

Mailey is 6 weeks old...can anyone believe it? She is growing way too fast, and I keep telling her to slow it down! I'm loving this baby-time!
Here are some facts about this 6 week old:
She can hold her head up like a champ.
She has moved to size 1 diapers.
Her eyes are deep blue.
She hates to have her arms swaddled.
She coos at you, especially when Bubba does the elephant noise.
She loves to smile back at you.
She has a lot of stomach junk and sometimes freaks out when she is nursing.
Her poops are projectile and can be heard across the room...or rooms.
She grunts.
She has already been on a 7 hour road trip to see her first mountain.
She loves to have her feet rubbed.
She stares at the letters on her wall in her room forever.
She sleeps about 5 hours at night, then a 3 or 4 hour stretch...on her good nights.
She sneezes a lot.
She loves to be in the sling.
She wants her diapers changed quickly or she is mad.
Her pacifier pops out when she is truly asleep.
She stands up in our arms and scoots across the floor in tummy time.
She loves putting her face by my face :)

That about wraps it up for the 6 week info. She is so much fun! We are trying to figure out the stomach thing. If there is any gas or poop in there, she is not happy at all, then she can't eat, then she is starving, then she is sucking down air, and the cycle repeats itself. Poor baby! How many doses can we possibly give of Mylicon???

So cute! I love her little nose!! We got to the point where we stopped using Mylicon and started using a all natural "gripe water or tummy soother" I think the key ingredient was ginger. I think it helped. Who knows??

I am sorry to hear about the stomach stuff! that stinks. I concur with the gripe water. it worked way better than mylicon for us.
