Santa

What a blessing to have gifts for our kids.  Christmas has basically been provided for us the last 2 years, and this year we were able to provide our Christmas, plus some things for others.  Pretty much everything I hear about we try and help the best way we can!  So so much was done for us, and I never want us to forget.

Mailey loved the candy the best!

Mak got a cool straightener and curling wand, a locking journal, and a Vera Bradley purse she's been asking for.

Tracen got a bike, helmet/pads, and Lego Ewok set.  He does not look too excited.  Tracen is so scared of riding his bike. We have to make him, and he has outgrown his old one.  A few weeks before Christmas he came in and said he wanted to do the Tech Triathlon with Josue, and he needed a bike to do it.  Hopefully we can practice so he can reach his goal!

Mailey got a Dr. Seuss book and a dollhouse.

She loooooves this!  She plays with it constantly.  Mailey is my little fairy child, always "pretembering."  This really was a perfect choice for her.

Happy dude!

Can't have Santa without the Dad having to put something together, right??

Christmas 1 & 2

We had a great break traveling across Texas and back again. We spent a few days with Tyson's parents and sister Stacie's fam, and then a few with the Amundson crew. This first picture is the ONLY picture I got at Grandma's!! I am sooo mad, and have no idea what I was doing...besides eating or something...and this is it. Cute, but it. Grandma got sick with the crud so we spent some lazy time watching tv and the kids played in the leaves.

I am truly in shock that I got a picture of all of my kids smiling together! I tried and tried and Ashley tried and then I was about to give up and then yay!!

Scott got tackled...

Mom got a camera...

Derrick is really part of our family...

Auntnie wanted Uncle to put his hairs down for the picture

Mailey got a fun car with a horse trailer...

The girls got scarves from me and Mak...

Scored a Kliff Kingsbury shirt for the boys...

Annnnndddd...that's all she wrote. I really do not know what got into me this year. I am usually that highly annoying family member taking too many pics. I think I need to go back to that in the future instead of just hanging out...and probably eating. Ha!
We looooove our family and had great fun and made more memories...even if they are not caught on camera. :)

Ryan and Abilou Wedding!

On Saturday the 24th, we experienced wedding marathon of amazingness!  (and more than a few crazy moments)  My cousin Ryan married Abigail Louise Kirk that day...Abilou, Abiloujah, Abilou from Idalou...anyhoooo, she is an Amundson now and our cuz!  The rehearsal luncheon was the day of the wedding.  My Auntnie did a wonderful job of table decorations looking so cute and vintage.  Then we were off the the rehearsal at The Legacy.  Then home to change and fix and rush back for pictures at 4.  Chill till wedding at 7.  Dance til 10.  Whew.  These babies were pooped, but had so much fun!

Mailey was a cute flower girl

A little hard to contain throughout the evening.

Tracen up there with the big boys.

Total personality pic right here.  Mak cracking up at Mailey, Tracen obeying and smiling, and Mailey doin' her thang.

This was the best of all grandkids...minus the flower girl posing. Oh MY!
We loved it all and are so happy for Ryan and Abilou!!

Day of Thanks 2012

This year was a little different because the family was here in the flatlands for Thanksgiving! Since an important wedding was that Saturday, we all celebrated, ate, played 36 hands of Nert, ate, and laughed til we cried.  So fun!  Very thankful for all of these people.

Some thankful leaves this year...Mailey's were hilarious.  Julianne with a HUGE bow on the top of her head so we would know it was her, and the strawberry and banana leaf.  Daddy also got a 'hawk. Sweet kiddos!
